Do you need a cover letter? Do you want the
job?
Many employers screen applicants based on cover
letters. Those who do not include a cover letter do not get consideration
for an interview. There are many approaches and you may want
to do some research to find a style that suits you and the job
you are applying for.
In general you should try to keep your letter
friendly, yet professional and avoid using the word "I" a
lot. It should sound natural when read and show the employer
you are enthusiastic.
